Thank you for this great opportunity. During my NYSC, I served in a Government Secondary School somewhere in the middle belt of Nigeria and I taught Maths and I taught Physics. But I might as well have been in a primary school or even Kindergarten because most of my students could not speak English. And yet they've been passed from class to class to class to SS 2 and ultimately SS 3 to move on to University. This is a big issue.

The Millennium Development Goal especially the Goal 2 in Education, Universal Basic Education is extremely important to me because primary education is the foundation of every educational system.

The gross incompetence that we have experienced in almost every sector of our society, especially here in Nigeria, is traceable to lack of education or poor education.

Anybody who has been a leader at any level knows that it is difficult to lead people; to make real changes. Let's not take the easy route. Because its easy to sit back and say we will do this and we will do that, and not commit to make changes happen. We need committed leaders. We don't necessarily need different leaders. We need you to make up your mind that change will happen. We are waiting on you world leaders. Make a difference. Help Africa to educate her children.
